According to Ayurveda 5 elements make up the material world we inhabit: ether, air, fire, water, and earth. The tradition of Ayurveda assumes that our bodies should reflect the nature of the universe and the way in which energy works in us. The teachings of Ayurveda state that the 5 elements combine in us to create 3 different energy forms known in Sanskrit as the 3 Doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. The Doshas represent your psychological and physical nature. Most of us have a predominant dosha type. When stress, wrong diet, or lack of exercise enters our life, our dosha type becomes imbalanced, which leads to illness. There are 4 important ways to balance your dosha and create health; diet, yoga, daily lifestyle, and seasonal routine. In your Ayurvedic Consultation the predominant dosha and current condition will be assessed. Information, discussions, and recommendations to keep your dosha type in balance will be provided.

Pulse diagnosis is the ancient art and science of detecting the existing status of a person’s body, mind, soul and spirit. Nadi or pulse is that vital flow of energy or life force that courses through as a subtle channel all over the body, and enables the practitioner or doctor to feel the way the blood spurts from the heart. This helps an experienced Ayurvedic Practitioner to diagnose or treat various ailments, or to prevent their occurrence. Pulse reading helps to diagnose the problem at the first stage, when the doshas and ama just begin to accumulate and much before they spread and vitiate the entire body; and manifest themselves in the form of symptoms that finally become chronic and complicated. The tongue diagnosis speaks volumes about your mind-body state, It is a holographic map of every aspect of you. The tongue diagnosis shows the areas of the body where imbalances lie. Health is present when the doshas are balanced and disease is present when they are imbalanced.
